What is the ComiCosmic Colony, as a piece of meta-fiction?

The ComiCosmic Colony is a space colonization vessel from a distant future that has fallen into a dimensional distortion (or "time hole") and is sending out signals in the hopes of finding an industrial society to partner with and build a way back home. It has landed in Earth's solar system in the 2020s, which isn't actually capable of providing any help of this nature, but has elected to continue broadcasting. To avoid destabilizing Earth culture, members are limited to Earth-current games within the fiction. While individual Vtubers may break from their default content preferences, they tend to have at least some amount of expectable content identity.
